What happened to Orsak, i saw that he was very fast on first 2 stages, then on third he had very bad time, after that he retired. Crash or mechanical problem?

Yes, it's on the other Bečva riverbank which is virtual border between Barum and Vsetín :)

Finally nice weather although still very cold after many years of problems with snow or rain in Vsetín :) Slovak Jaroslav Melichárek won and proved that WRC suits him much more than Gr.N car. His progress this year was for me very surprising. You can see very thin time differences on other places with 3rd-5th place separated by 2,1 seconds etc. It's also nice to see that Tlusťák's good times from last leg of Antibes weren't just occasional. The only retirement from the top was Karel Trněný who lost wheel of his Octavia WRC.

2WD title was decided in quite sad way when Václav Dunovský was penalized for braking a chicane by 30 seconds (we have rules for that here). He needed to win to gain the title but this way he was 28 seconds slower than Petr Brynda who won the title. It could have been epic battle for the title.

Pavel Valoušek with Fabia S2000 won annual Sosnová show both in rally classification and by overall time. René Münnich with Fabia T16 won rallycross classification but didn't manage to be faster than Valoušek. Marek Stloukal won autocross classification.

In the moment it's been 22 hours of non-stop snowing in Prague and the weather won't change a lot till start of Rallysprint (still below zero and some more new snow). It doesn't look good with new natural stage Karlik since studs are not allowed and salt is not allowed there also due to natural protected area. Strahov circuit and SSS will run normally for sure (with salted surface). Horse speedway Chuchle is completely covered by snow an most probably will stay like that.

Yes, it looks like they will drive it normally. It's almost complete snow surface with some broken stone on it. I'm planning to go somewhere there.

Yes, for sure. It was amazing! We saw a lot of great action, also pushed Josef Semerád from a snowbank on SS Karlík :D

PG told me that D10 were absolutely awful choice for SS Karlík. Valoušek and some others used stock Nokian tyres with additional cuts and they worked much better. Strahov circuit was great show from almost everyone but in very difficult SS Karlík it was about raw speed and there were huge differences in driving (also often caused by tyres). For me the most "wau" was Valoušek and the best show showed Semerád duo in last SSS. It was just a bit too cold with -15 degrees in first stages.

No big reason. I would say that the Evo X is not suitable for the Czech track. Evo IX is better suited to the Czech track. But maybe Semerad Rally Team build Evo X

I can still remember how one rally VHS casette from the early 90s had a scene of a little dog running straight under one Lancia Integrale somewhere in Italy I guess. Surprisingly nothing happened and it survived. But I was really scared every time and didn't want to see the scene when I was a really small kid (~3-5 years old) in the early 90s. :D LOL

Just briefly :
- two years programe with Fabia S2000 for him
- he will start only in CZ championship this year (just a litle chance for one rally abroad)
- his team, Kresta Racing, will be running Lancers Evo IX for Robert Adolf and Petr Trnovec. Also the "dakar" Mistubishi Pajero (now preparing for Silk Way Rally)
- More extensive support for talented Mirek Jakeš, including physicall training and things like tyre choice and so on. After he lost his main sponsor Delimax ( they´re sponsoring Valousek) Kresta and his sponsors decided to help him. Jakes will start only in rallysprints with his Evo IX running by Kresta Racing, but with Kresta´s co-driver Petr Gross.

AFAIK, this is one-off outing with the R2 Fabia now.

This year he will start only in rallysprints with Punto S2000 and his old codriver, Igor Norek. His main sponsor and codriver in one person, Daniel Trunkat, will be more interested in business this year, so Mirek has only this reduced programme. But Trunkat is planning to go international next year with Tarabus :)
Fiesta is still owned by Martin Prokop. Tarabus rented it last year from him.
And the last answer, Tarabus will drive Fabia R2 only in Valasska Rally. In next rounds of MMCR it will be driven by Jan Černý, who is this week in Portugal as WRC Academy driver.

I think he retired in last service, because he doesnt want to wait for taking cars our of parc ferme. His primar goal was to test before next polish round and as he was out of top ten, there is no point to wait 3 hours more...
