Rally Pačejov was very nice (and hot) as usual. The most spectator friendly rally in CZ - the road sections between stages are around 5-10 km long, taping is very friendly for spectators, stages are spectacular and the beer tents are on every crowded place.

The rally was won by Jan Dohnal who started with Melichárek's Fiesta WRC. Odložilík finished second separated only by 0,6 seconds from Tarabus who tried big attack at the last short but difficult half-gravel stage and nearly succeeded. Anyway for me the man (or in this case boy) of the rally was Petr Semerád. The 17-years old boy won 2WD easily and showed again that there is a lot to expect from him in the future. The second guy Kornhefr (26 years old) showed also very good speed with the old C2 R2 (Kornhefr moved from amateur events only last year and this is his first season with relatively fast car).

There was only one major retirement. Kopáček and his co-driver Rendlová tried to get back in the car after the crash in Hustopeče (this time with gr.N Subaru) but they retired early because they were still not fit enough. I really hope they can get well before Barum.

1. Dohnal (Fiesta WRC) 40:31,5
2. Odložilík (Fiesta R5) +19,5
3. Tarabus (Fabia R5) +20,1
4. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +39,3
5. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +1:22,9
6. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:29,5
7. Štochl (Fabia R5) +1:38,8
8. Peták (Focus WRC) +3:00,7
9. Růžička (Fiesta R5) +3:24,2
10. Šikl (Evo IX gr.N) +3:27,5

2WD
1. P. Semerád (Adam R2) 45:03,5
2. Kornhefr (C2 R2) +25,0
3. Horák (Adam R2) +30,3

The penultimate round of the Rallysprint championship took place today. The reborn Rally Jeseníky with beautiful mountain stages. Unfortunately not very strong competition entered the event. There was nevertheless a great battle between Odložilík and Vlček which was decided only on the last stage. Trněný lost most of the time with a clutch issue but nevertheless the leading duo was faster. Kurka while not the best driver around finally again brough his Mini WRC on stages. Nowadays it's really rare car and a nice addition to see. Among 2WD this time someone managed to beat the young Petr Semerád (who was ill today) - it was Michal Horák who took the victory by 8,5 seconds.

1. Odložilík (Fiesta R5) 39:29,4
2. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +6,9
3. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +1:17,3
4. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:45,1
5. Kurka (Mini WRC) +1:45,8
6. Pátl (Fiesta R5) +3:12,3
7. Šimek (Evo IX gr.N) +3:38,5
8. Hanák (Fiesta R5) +3:44,9
9. Horák (Adam R2) +3:48,8
10. Semerád P. (Adam R2) +3:57,3

17-years old Petr Semerád is now officially the overall winner of the 2018 Rallysprint Series (4WD cars don't count). He will be 18 only in May next year. His team is not doing any secrets about its aim to get him into WRC events as soon as possible.

"as soon as possible" is not the best way and I hope that team understand it...

Quite strange situation in Czech championship before the last event - Rally Příbram. Filip Mareš will not start in the last event despite him having a good chance to finish the season on second place. Instead he will start in ERC Latvia (good decision IMO). The fight for the overall second place is therefore set to be between Černý and Pech. For Černý it's his home rally. Kopecký will not start (as expected).

You can notice that Dohnal is there with Focus. Honestly I don't know how is that possible because normally with our rules he can't use his second car. Maybe he got some exception.

Is Rene Dohnal any how related to Jan Dohnal?

No. Just same surname. But he is son of Pavel Dohnal (https://www.ewrc-results.com/profile/3629-pavel-dohnal/) who used to compete with Evo IX in lower czech championships.

Pech won Rally Příbram after a big fight with Černý and Dohnal. Pech finished the season as second finally. Černý was leading after day one but retired with broken wheel today. Jakeš who was the early leader and who won three stages lost 4,5 minutes with a puncture on the penultimate stage. in 2WD Cais was completely dominating leading by 33 seconds after 7 stages but he retired after hitting a wall in the first stage of the second leg. In the end René Dohnal won.

1. Pech (Fiesta R5) 1:14:23,5
2. Dohnal (Focus WRC) +4,7 (10 sec penalty)
3. Štajf (Fabia R5) +1:16,5
4. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +2:10,2
5. Trojan (Fabia R5) +2:16,8
6. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) +2:21,5
7. Březík (Fabia R5) +2:24,7 (15 sec penalty)
8. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +3:16,1
9. Štochl (Fabia R5) +3:28,1
10. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +4:02,0 (10 sec penalty)

Some important retirements: Černý (Fiesta R5 - broken wheel), Cais (208 R2 - broken radiator), Tlusťák (Fiesta R5 - double puncture), Šikl (Evo IX - crash), Barčák (Adam R2 - technical issue)

Stage victories: Dohnal 5, Pech 4, Jakeš 3, Černý 1 (one SS was canceled)

An interesting fact. It's been exactly four year since Pech's last championship victory! He didn't win a single rally since Příbram 2014 (Příbram 2015, 2016, 2017 were won by Dohnal and all the rest by Kopecký).

Final results of Rally Vsetín are quite strange. Vlček or Odložilík were much slower than expected, others like Pospíšilík were faster than expected (first podium ever for him). Trněný had technical issues. Odložilík despite just cruising today is the absolute winner of the season. Only in 2WD nothing changed and Petr Semerád totally crushed everyone and confirmed his dominance through the season.

1. Grzyb (Fabia R5) 38:34,8
2. Melichárek (Fiesta WRC) +13,9
3. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) +37,8
4. Březík (Fabia R5) +43,7
5. Vlček (Fiesta R5) +1:02,8
6. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:20,7
7. Odložilík (Fiesta R5) +1:31,1
8. Trněný (Fabia WRC) +1:38,3
9. Štochl (Fabia R5) +2:24,1 (30 sec pen.)
10. Pešl (Evo IX gr.N) +2:34,1

2WD
1. Semerád P. (Adam R2) 41:58,
2. Horák (Adam R2) +1:04,5
3. Svačina (208 R2) +1:15,0

Maybe another interesting names rise...

Dominik Stříteský. He is 18 years old, did only four rallies so far and already won two events of Adam Cup. Today he was 8th overall in 2WD with only the cup car among much stronger cars.

Tomáš Uher, 21 years old, just 8 rallies (3 of them amateur ones), he was 5th in 2WD with a diesel Fabia RS in all last three rallypsrint events.

I know that it's not important at all but it's at least interesting... The two who got into the final in Sosnová show were not Pech, Grzyb or Černý but Mareš and Semerád who in his 17 years sat in the R5 for the very first time. In the end Mareš was slightly faster.

Entry list for Prague is out: https://www.ewrc-results.com/entries/45684-tipcars-prazsky-rallysprint-2018/

4 WRC, 21 R5, 2 S2000 etc.

Except from what I already wrote some more unusual combinations (often suggest plans for next year)

Béreš jun. (SVK) with Fiesta R5 (ex-Odložilík)
Odložilík with Fabia R5
Kopáček with Fabia R5 (ex-Štajf)
Bisaha with i20 R5
Gavlák (SVK) with Fabia R5
Sýkora with Fiesta R5
Zabloudil with Fiesta R5 (usually Impreza STi or Impreza 555)
Kašpar with Fabia R5 (usually Octavia Kit Car)

The timetable is nearly same as last year. First two stages are short natural narrow hill-climb tracks located south of the city, then they move to the very fast and wide city circuit around Strahov stadium where they'll do 4 circuit stages bringing hours of action. Despite it's being a show the rule is that those who can fight for the win until the first spin. After that they claim they drive just for fun of spectators :p That's why we can expect Lukyanuk and Pech actually fighting each other. Also others like Koči, Melichárek or Gryzb can try.

Saw a bit of action but returned early as I have other things to do.

The Polo is awesome. Works great, looks great. I'm really impressed.

Lukyanuk when I saw hiw was driving slow and totally unspectacular. The least spectacular driver of the whole 4WD field. I don't know why but it felt like if he was just bored. Maybe it's due to the tyres he uses (Hankook). Some others were driving purely just for show (Kopáček, Sýkora for example).

Otherwise standard organization chaos for this event starting with competely unrealistic time schedule (every year it's the same!). The stages have been mostly wet with some salty snow slush.

Meanwhile Pech crashed into some parked local cars. I haven't seen any video of the crash yet.

You don't need much of co-driving here. Most of the time You do laps on the same street circuit. I think it may have more to do with Hankook tyres which he didn't trust. I don't know.

standard tyres?

Seems to be confirmed he was on stock tyres but in the moment I have no idea why. In 2011 local crews used stock tyres when there was snow because they worked better than Monte Carlo style tyres without studs (those are not allowed). That time this team was there with PG Andersson and they lost huge time with MC Michelin tyres compared to others on stock ones. So maybe they thought it would be the same again. But this time there was little to no snow compared to 2011.

New videos of Pech's crash. This time some people were veeeery lucky. Usually the problem with Prague is that there are thousands of people who have never beeen to any rally before and also the organization level isn't good.

And now something for all fans of weird stuff. Yesterday the annual amateur event Ve stopě Valašské zimy took place. This even is the crazies one in our country because of conditons combined with no studs and sometimes very amateur level and bad old stock cars (of course there are some very good drivers as well even some proffesionals with zero cars). Anyway tons of weird accidents and funny stuff plus from time to time some nice driving: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03T0Wa_AGoA

By the way all shots are taken on former Barum rally stage Zádveřice.

Valašská zima = Walachian winter; it used to be an international Czechoslovak championship event through the 80'.

In region of Valasska Rally, only D1 is with toll, other roads are free. Of course, in Slovakia you should pay toll for motorway.

So Valašská Rally 2019 is finished now. This time I wasn't there due to some other plans for the weekend but nevertheless it must have been a nice event to spectate especially due to the crazy number of R5 cars on the start.

Kopecký unsurprisingly won and won also all 14 stages... but aside of that there was a lot of things worth mentioning. There was an awesome battle for the second place (and victory in the Slovak championship) between Pech and Koči. Unfortunately the fight was decided by technical problems of Koči (likely differential) on the last two stages. Černý was mostly the fourth guy (finally having the speed again) but just like Koči also he had technical problems. He lost gear shifting on the road section, managed to repair it but got a time penatly for being late into the next stage. Mareš had a rather slow start but in the end he finished third overall which is pretty good result I'd say. From those not so positive points I'd name lack of speed for Jakeš, Štajf, Vlček, Béreš jr., Odložilík or even Grzyb. I think that everyone thought Grzyb would finish better than 8th (despite driving Fabia instead of Polo in the end). Štajf was quite slow with the Polo. He himself said he must get used to the car on Czech stages and also work hard on the setup for our roads. Vlček looked like he lost some speed with the Hyundai but maybe he will be faster next time. Jakeš had two punctures but even without them the speed was not there. I personally think that it goes down to the Hankook tyres. This time it was bone dry and not wet and damp like on Barum. Béreš was simply nowhere, finished 18th with the best stage result being 15th place! Odložilík lost 3,5 minutes with a puncture but even without that he was rarely able to set a top 10 time. Also worth mentioning that Trněný switched from Fabia WRC to Fiesta R5 after more than a decade and he was unable to show any speed. He finished only 22nd.

Overall except for Kopecký and Pech it was like most of the old classic names got very rusty through the winter.

Strange thing happened also in 2WD. Kamenec went into the penultimate stage as a clear leader with half a minute lead over René Dohnal but he crashed heavily and gave the victory away.

1. Kopecký (Fabia R5) 1:31:29,6
2. Pech (Fiesta R5) +1:05,1
3. Mareš (Fabia R5) +1:42,6
4. Koči (Fabia R) +2:14,6 (5 sec penalty + 1:24 lost on the last two stages with technical problems)
5. Dohnal (Focus WRC) +2:20,6
6. Kopáček (Fabia R5) +2:40,3 (5 sec penalty)
7. Černý (Fabia R5) +2:47,7 (+1:20 penalty and a puncture)
8. Grzyb (Fabia R5) +2:59,1 (10 sec penalty)
9. Orsák (Fiesta R5) +3:05,3
10. Štajf (Polo R5) +3:12,0

There was only one (!!!) retirement from the whole top 30 starting numbers. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) crashed hard (crew ok).

Kostka lost nearly 6 minutes with a puncture on SS1. He will not win this one...

Mirek Jakeš won Rally Kopná and proved again that the Hankooks are strong in wet and cold weather (unlike on the dry Valašská Rally). Erik Cais in his first ever 4WD start brought the biggest suprise. He won three of seven stages overall and was able to keep the pace with Jakeš through the whole event. He made a spin on one stage and lost roughly ten seconds. Jakeš on the other hand got five seconds penalty for hitting a chicane. Vlček with Hyundai R5 finished third when he managed to get over Tlusťák in Hyundai WRC (2016 spec.) in the very last stage. Kostka retired after first stage when his rim broke. He said he would prefer to start in another event with the same car instead of fighting a lost battle here. So let's hope he brings this car again elsewhere. I think that everybody expected somewhat more from Marczyk, Odložilík or Melichárek.

Adam Březík (son of Martin Březík) won 2WD classification with a large margin.

Dominik Stříteský won the Opel Adam Cup.

To me completely unknown French driver Stéphane Scellier won historic classification (after some problems of his opponents but still it's unusual to have a winner who is not known to anyone).

Final results:
1. Jakeš (Fabia R5) 39:12,5 (5 sec penalty)
2. Cais (Fiesta R5) +10,8 (one spin)
3. Vlček (i20 R5) +18,0
4. Tlusťák (i20 WRC) +20,6
5. Tarabus (Fabia R5) +41,3
6. Březík M. (Fabia R5) +43,0
7. Odložilík (Fabia R5) +1:00,4
8. Melichárek (Fiesta WRC) +1:05,4
9. Marczyk (Fabia R5) +1:14,1
10. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:35,5

I know him very well :) I am in contact with him more than one year, due to some business he is working in Czech now. Quite crazy when he was trying to find some team and codriver in Czech, had big plans of starts last year. At least he did Partr Rally Vsetin, where he finished on 5th position. For this year he finally got czech licence, so he can score points in czech historic championship.

Kopecký (even though he doesn't need it) was also very lucky with the weather on SS2. He drove it nearly all dry while every following driver had it more and more wet.

Also if somebody is bossing it, it's the good old "Lucky" Battistolli and his even more famous co-driver Fabrizia Pons in ERC historic leading by almost two minutes after six stages (one was canceled for them due to a crash of Štochl from the modern field).

So... Kopecký will not keep winning Czech events until his retirement. The final number of the winning streak is 24 events.

Anyway rather difficult rally, especially the first leg with the strong rain in the night. As You might remember usually there are few retirements among the R5 drivers in our events. Here three of fourteen crashed (Jakeš, Štochl, Trojan and all of them on the same stage Koráb). Dohnal with Focus WRC also went off and suprise, surprise, on the same stage. He got back on the road after eight minutes but after that retired anyway. Trněný sat back into Fabia WRC and retired with broken gearbox already on the first stage.

From the sporting point of view Kopecký was massively faster in the night rainy stages (he was also lucky with the moment when the rain started). Especially his crazy time from SS6 is worth mentioning (17,5 s faster than the second driver Mareš), but, but... again he picked a puncture. This time he lost too much time to recover. If the rally was two stages longer he may have won anyway but that's not important. Pech was initially maybe a bit slower than expected but when he got the chance he took it. Nevertheless Mareš gave him a good fight and later also to recovering Kopecký. I dare to say it was Mareš's best performance so far. Hopefully there is more to come. Kopáček started slower but in the end also he picked a very good speed. Both of these guys step by step overtook Černý who was initially ahead of them. Simon Wagner crushed the 2WD opposition. Janota was the fastest GT driver.

1. Pech (Fiesta R5) 1:32:19,0 (5 sec penalty for a chicane)
2. Kopecký (Fabia R5) +12,7 (lost 1:36 with a puncture)
3. Mareš (Fabia R5) +18,3
4. Kopáček (Fabia R5) +53,0 (5 sec penalty for a chicane)
5. Černý (Fabia R5) +1:05,9 (lost around 20-30 seconds with engine issue on SS6)
6. Štajf (Polo R5) +1:51,3
7. Odložilík (Fabia R5) +2:41,8 (5 sec penalty for a chicane)
8. Březík (Fabia R5) +2:44,3 (10 sec penalty for a jump start)
9. Hrobský (Evo IX gr.N) +8:52,7 ((5 sec penalty for a chicane)
10. Kalista (Evo VI gr.A) +9:08,2 (lost roughly 3 minutes with an accident)
11. Wagner (Adam R2) +9:18,9 (1st 2WD)
12. Janota (997 GT3) +9:42,8 (1st GT)

SS wins: Kopecký 10, Dohnal 2, Pech 1, Kopáček 1

Historic Rallye Vltava was a true one man show of Luigi "Lucky" Battistolli and Fabrizia Pons (Lancia Delta Integrale). They won by 2,5 minutes over Vlastimil Neumnann (Escort Cosworth) in overall classification and by more than three minutes over Karl Wagner (Porsche 911 SC) in the ERC classification. Also this event saw plenty of retirements.

1. Lucky (Delta Integrale) 1:27:50,5 (one long stage was canceled for historics)
2. Neumann (Escort Cosworth) +2:33,6
3. Wagner (911 SC) +3:09,2
4. Silvasti (Lancia 037) +3:14,3
5. Káňa (Sierra Cosworth) +6:26,8
6. Veikkanen (911 SC) +7:11,6
7. Kirvesmäki (Corolla GT) +7:16,2 (congratulations Jeppe!)
8. Klik (Lada VFTS) +8:34,8
9. Mekler (Alfa Romeo 1750 GTAm) +8:58,7
10. Krejča (Škoda 130 LR) +9:06,6

Looks like Kopecky had some kind of penalty then (30s), so he ends the day with a very small lead.

Stage times don’t seem a great deal different to what one would have expected with the old car but perhaps he is taking it easy or getting used to the new car.

But Kopecky says roadbook is different, so they can prbly appeal. Doesn't matter much though, unless he makes a puncture tomorrow.

Mirek

Retarder = Chicane

In our system you get 30 seconds if you miss a chicane completely or brake straight through (less for lesser infingement, such as 5 seconds for moving one chicane piece from its base marked on the road). The system is pretty clear with a refferee at each chicane marked so in the road book.

I think they would not appeal if nothing more happens and they win.

Today SS2/6 was the hardest one today (and my favourite). First two stages tomorrow are the hardest of the rally.

Ladies and gentlemen... we have a new maiden overall winner in Czech lands. Something very very special :)

Before Rally Hustopeče it was expected that a big battle will rage for the victory because Jan Kopecký is on Sardinia and Václav Pech hasn't been dominating the rest of the field anymore like when he was younger (probably the Fiesta limits him in a certain way as well). It was exactly like that and the rally was overloaded with drama. There were three rally leaders and six stage winners.

The early leader was Černý followed by Grzyb, Koči and Pech. In the second night section Mareš won both stages and got into the lead. Pech lost 40 seconds with broken driveshaft (and two spins out of that), Koči retired behind the finish of the loop due to double puncture (it's not allowed to drive on three wheels on the road section). Grzyb got a 30 second penalty for taking a shortcut on SS1 (see here: https://youtu.be/QszvQOzMuBo?t=222 ). Jakeš broke three concrete poles of a fence but luckily without any functional damage. Therefore after the first leg it was Mareš - Černý +3,5 - Jakeš +30,3.

In the second leg Mareš further extended his lead and took the victory. Černý retired on the very last stage with a broken transmission after a puncture. Jakeš would be therefore second but he also retired but this time behind the finish of the very last stage! He wasn't able to start the engine. He was lucky in the first leg but very unlucky in the end. Pech got a puncture and had to change a wheel. As a result he finished only 10th. Koči restarted to get points for the second leg into the Slovak championship (they give points for each day separately) and won the second leg ahead of Grzyb in Slovak standings.

Final standings look therefore like this:

1. Mareš (Fabia R5) 1:22:56,1
2. Dohnal (Focus WRC) +1:05,8
3. Grzyb (Fabia R5) +1:15,7 (30 sec penalty)
4. Štajf (Polo R5) +1:23,6
5. Odložilík (Fabia R5) +1:36,3
6. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +1:44,0
7. Březík (Fabia R5) +1:54,1 (5 sec penalty)
8. Vlček (i20 R5) +2:13,8
9. Pospíšilík (Fabia R5) +2:57,2
10. Pech (Fiesta R5) +3:23,0 (broken driveshaft and tyre change on stage)

Jan Talaš (208 R2) easily won 2WD. Stejskal (Clio R3T), who was the closest to Talaš, crashed. Semerád (Adam R2) crashed after he encountered a concrete anti-cut thrown by gr.N car of Hrobský into the middle of the road (see here: https://www.ewrc-results.com/quickp/55768_64732880_464027891044721_1033275084518719488 _n.jpg ). Kopecký lost 11 seconds on SS4. Maybe a spin or something.

SS3 was dry, SS4 wet.

EDIT: Small off for Kopecký, same for Vlček and Tomek. All on the same spot.

@RallyBohemia after SS 4: @KalleRovanpera so far quickest and took the lead, #Kopecký took softer rain tires, lost 10 seconds, weather conditions unpredictable #Skoda @eWRCresults @OfficialWRC

2WD leader Talaš lost over 20 seconds on SS4 too.

SS6 was nearly dry and Rovanperä was fastest again (maybe he had a bit better tyres I don't know).

Kopecký again very slow time on SS7. SS8 currently stopped due to an accident of one of the historical cars starting before the main field. Ambulance on the spot.

EDIT: Kopecký's time will be corrected. Shall be a timing mistake.

Never mind, strange things happen...

A lot of punctures on SS11 but the times have changed now, hard to say who lost how much...

There is some mess in times now (not only in times but also in the timetable).

Most likely Černý is leading now after the puncture plague bus his time is wrong (also of Dohnal and Vlček who also escaped the puncture).

Mirek
13th July 2019, 16:30
So now the times make sense. There was some rain water pipe in a ditch which they dug out by cutting in the first run and nearly everybody made a puncture on it in the second run. Černý, Dohnal and Vlček were the only one from the top crews who avoided it. Černý is leading.

From the times in the following stage I'd say some had damaged geometry or suspension from the puncture as well. Another reason could be wrong tyres in the spare for the actual conditions on the stage.

So after first day we can expect a big battle tomorrow. Tomorrow there are two well known stages for everyone except Kalle (including the long one which will most likely decide) and one new stage for everyone. At the end there is a second run of the city stage.

1. Černý
2. Rovanperä +7,6
3. Kopecký +12,7
4. Mareš +22,0

Video SS3-SS8. You can skip the interviews in Czech of course :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XL1Ku4p7fKg

The most funny thing from the interviews is that some drivers were complaining they had slicks and needed wet tyres (Dohnal, Odložilík for example) while Kopecký was complaining that he had wet tyres and needed slick :D

And a second funny thing. I don't know if you ever saw something like that. The second loop today was started 24 minutes ahead of the schedule...

Yes, he gave up. Because of missing in Hustopece and cancellation of Pribram, for him was more important to score maximum points in Czech championship.

And the best debut of a foreign driver on Czech event in at least twenty years. Hats off!

In fact this is how it shall be. The young shall take over the old before those retire and that day comes ever closer for Jan.

Today I finally went on the stages again. Saw three of them and I am very happy about my choice of places. Also saw a few rather big crash of Tomek and helped to move the car off the road.

2018 was peak Kopecky. Still he can be pretty useful for Skoda for the time being, but Mares is coming on well too..

I think they should send Kalle to Barum too, just to check :)

Dohnal easily won Rally Pačejov. Behind him Odložilík, Tarabus and surprisingly Rujbr were battling. Odložilík retired with broken suspension (Vlček with the same problem). Henning Solberg was co-driven by his wife and he was rather slow (he also made a mistake with setup and tyres for one section). Moreover he got 3 minutes penalty for being too early in TC (he said it was his mistake). Pech drove Jírovec's Porsche 997 but he wasn't able to keep with the R5 cars. In fact he was battling with top gr.N drivers not with the R5. There were many retirements and crashes therefore the final results look a bit unusual for Czech events...

Jimmy McRae drove two of his ex-cars as zero - Chevette and Manta from the collection of Jiří Jírovec. Jírovec also bought ex-Mäkinen's Evo VI from Henning.

Video from SS1-SS6 including a short onboard of Henning (note 10:23 and 11:43 the rims): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fF0tNpk2Kag

1. Dohnal (Focus WRC) 42:50,4
2. Tarabus (Fabia R5) +40,1
3. Rujbr (Fabia R5) +43,6
4. Trněný (Fiesta R5) +1:54,8
5. Pech (Porsche 997 GT3) +2:50,9
6. Šimek (Evo IX gr.N) +3:08,4
7. Šikl (Evo IX gr.N) +3:19,7
8. Pokorný (Fabia R5) +4:19,6
9. Březík jr. (208 R2) +4:20,8
10. Nešpor (Porsche 997 GT3) +4:47,4

12. Solberg (Fiesta R5) +4:57,7 (3 minutes penalty)

This time I could not go therefore I only give info which was posted on the internet. I really like this event but my friend had a wedding yesterday :)

In short from last video, he´s saing that he didn´t tested the 911 prior the event and hoped they would remember from 2016. In second half of event they started to enjoy it. About Henning, Pech is happy that Henning liked the car. Not much about comparison of cars.

Well, everything looks like driving the GT for fun is his way to retirement. I have never been a fan of him but I will miss him because he used to be one of our best drivers of all time (at least on the home soil). As it looks a big chapter will be closed at Barum and maybe not only one.

Have SKODA Motorsport now started supplying Czech registered cars for export?

I noticed that Loubet's Evo car for Finland was registered 11R 0429.

They previously only supplied them to foreign teams on temporary export plates.

Mirek
6th August 2019, 18:24
That's indeed weird. Such plate is IMHO valid only if the car is registered in Czech Republic (maybe 2C registered it in CZ for some reason like cheaper taxes or insurance?).

But it's not the first and by far not the weirdest registration plate. That one is Nobre's. The V-letter plates belong to old-timer cars in CZ and such plate on the R5 is technically illegal everywhere.

How many cars are still competing on temporary 'export' plates that have long since expired?

You can still see some Fabia S2000 on 'S' export plates.
