So, next 48 hours will be heavy snowfall around Monte stages. Some locations might get as much as half meter of snow (mountains over 1 km elevation). Initial forecats was quite good, -15..-20 in the mountains, early mornings is likely. But it will be mostly calm and without additional snowfall. Fog is likeley in many locations. So, how many problems we have with low temperatures with new cars?

Have You realized that M-Sport isn't a carmaker, doesn't sell anything to the general public and therefore doesn't need all that marketing stuff which the carmakers need for promoting their products?

Don't know about that either, but there is massive crowd in their "supermarket" at times, don't know who these people are, and don't care at all.
Still waiting for an answer to my question about the professional work anyway. What difference does it make the form of the building job to be professional?

Yes, big manufacturer teams invite their dealers from Rally country and neighbouring countries, offering them VIP packages and this all gives additional value for VIP package. With cold weather you can have opposite effect with such a building. In the tents you have always colder and climate is more similar to the oustide and it is bit harder to work for people. In such a service building, you tend to have warmer climate and every time you change the climate for your car rapidly, you risk that something might go wrong. Have you used photo camera? When it is really cold outside and you come rapidly inside, to a warm room, the lense or class will be misted, same can happen going outside. Imagine that the car with its thousands of components is like a big camera and you have huge number of places where you might have undesired results of such a rapid temperature change. So, working outside might have advantage :)

I'll give an example to make You easy - the bees - they make hives in tree hollows, tree stumps, human made square boxes, whatever they find, still their product the honey has the same taste, smell and color, depending solely on the pasture. If You agree humans are lower than bees, I can also agree with that.

So much motorsport these days is marketing to their corporate clients, not just people turning up to watch. That's their #1 audience now, especially on location. They'll invite all local dealers and they bring their guests. That building is perfect for housing them in a privileged position (on the second floor).
It's the same at most circuit racing, where many of the best spots get taken up by manufacturers' corporate hospitality units (I'm looking at you, Porsche, who keep blocking Eau Rouge at Spa 24, and whoever has nabbed the Ford chicane entrance at Le Mans).
I'm not a fan of Hyundai's building, but that's just because seeing the team working in air conditioned 'luxury' doesn't feel right, but I spend most service park time with the other classes, who still have to work to a proper clock in old-school conditions.

Yes, but there is quite big difference. Tents always cool town quickly when car enters and then warms up slowly, which is good. You cannot achieve it with building.

How are the people eating and drinking from the free bar on the second floor of Hyundai making it easier for the team to do their jobs during service?
In that moment they aren't - but as others have said these VIPs, dealers, sponsors are all key to Hyundai getting the budget to do the WRC, and being able to afford to build that service park. And that big structure for Hyundai was something they could immediately claim to be the best in the WRC at.
Sadly it's why we are largely stuck with one service park and cloverleaf formats. Teams need a central hub they can host people. And the level of VIP experience you can provide does often have a direct impact on what sponsors you can get. Because you are effectively competing with all sporting events. In the rally bubble, certainly that's where WRX trounces the WRC because any corporate clients can be hosted metres from the actual racing action.

In Monte Carlo every crew can have a gravel crew. At least it was the case last time we were there in 2012. It's a bit strange as the rules said that only WRC drivers can have a route note car but in this case I think it's ACM that allows everybody to use them

I wouldn't be too worried about that aspect. After all, these are cars made to go though water splashes, mud, dust, snow etc.
The small amount of condensated water is nothing to worry about.
Neither is the tiny thermal expansion this brings. The Hyundai and VW cars are testament to this.

Unfortunately, the Monte Carlo Rally loses a star. The Roman rider Max Rendina, writing with during a test took place in the morning in Cuneo (Madonna del Colletto), Skoda Fabia R5 in WRC2, he is involved in an accident and will miss the race of the principality.
Max we are sorry, tell us what happened?
"I was in a fast section, downhill, ice, I went outside on an embankment. The car after taking the embankment capsized on its side. Damage to the machine are limited but unfortunately I have a dislocated shoulder that I will skip the first round of the WRC. "
Max must therefore recover this race valid for the WRC2 and has yet to plan how to do that.
"Since we required the Tour de Corse there are difficulties to be able to do both Mexico that running the race, we will decide at a later time, past the anger of what happened."
-Coma're Now physically?
"The problem of dislocation I will skip the Monte Carlo, now I also have swollen hand, but it will soon. Apart from the moral'm good enough. "
And wished speedy recovery to Max, we will follow both in WRC2 championship both for the organization of the Rally of Rome, valid this year as a European championship.

Where I was last at the service park (Germany last year) it was open to the public and they had marketing of their road cars just next to the building (opposite of the "road" for returning or outbound rally cars). It was the same setup as for VW, but the VW service center was closed but for a few invited fans, like you described Hyundai.

Very cold nights till Thursday (-12..-16 on the stages) a few minus degrees during days.. sarting from Friday, a few pluss degrees in sunshine, and minus in shade So, a lot of snow around, that means a lot of black ice when daily melting water freezes.. proper Monte. "Little by little, I become aware of the approaching deadline. What we were talking about in the future now combines with the present! Every day, we exchange a lot with the engineers, about every detail related to my car. Nothing is left to chance and it is really fascinating to be at the heart of this official team. For this first rally with this status, I will aim to play placed and score a maximum of points for Citroën. I think I still have a running deficit with the C3 WRC and I do not want to burn the stages. I must first take the measure of the car in race conditions before fetching the limit. I think we are all in the same situation, with a lot of unknown in all areas. "
CRAIG BREEN
"I will probably be the driver with the least pressure this weekend! I am satisfied to start my season at the wheel of an old car, because I do not have much experience at Monte Carlo. This participation will give me the opportunity to learn this rally. It will also be an opportunity to see the gap between the two generations of World Rally Cars. My priority is to accumulate miles, but I will also be satisfied if I manage to score a few points. Perhaps they will be useful at the end of the season. "

To be honest I had opportunity to drive and to talk with many people who tested that car in proper winter conditions and feedback wasn't great. Between Evo IX or even X and this Mk3 there is a massive difference. This car fits better for a track than for a roads but for Ogi it will be maybe enough to win :)
I think it's also marketing move from Ford to give him that Focus.

Ogier is driving 'a Ford'... not 'for Ford'.
M-Sport are a private team and they are paying for Ogier to drive their Ford Fiesta WRC which they developed and run. Red Bull also pay as Ogier's sponsor.

Apparently stages around Gap have up to 90% snow and ice at the moment.
More in detail:
Friday stages are completly covered in snow and ice apart from:
SS3/6: almost completly covered in snow
SS4/7: parts around town of St Firmen (=first part of the stage) and last kilometers of the stage are dry
SS5/8: start untill Ancelle and the last kilometers are dry
Saturday:
SS9/11: ice on the last +-10km
SS10/12: some patches of ice, not so much
Sunday and Thursday stages are dry

Some little things from last two pages which stroke my eyes...
Hyundai preferes to use halogen light ramp instead of more and more popular LED lamps. Pity we don't have any specification to compare (like great graphs for R5 LED Lazer lamps).
In the photos of Yaris and C3 without rear wheels it's clearly visible that there is an air duct for cooling of rear brakes in Citroën while there is none visible in the Yaris (maybe not installed yet?).

from French forum
For those who do not understand French well, here in detail, after our first full pass, on the 6 stages around GAP, the current situation.
Shakedown: many frozen parts of km.1.5 to km.3.
ES 2-13: totally dry except for many frozen traps on all bridge crossings between km.13,5 and 21,5.
ES 3-6: 95% full snow and ice!
Snow hard icy up to km.3.
Very good snow and downhill trap until St Disdier.
Rails of melting snow and ice between St Disdier and Les Gillardes.
Snow hard frozen until Ambel
Final less and less icy becoming dry.
ES 4-7: 90% full snow and very bright ice!
Col de Festreaux snow and ice.
Descent on St Firmin wet and icy.
Dry valley after St Firmin.
Return snow and ice from Le Séchier.
Frozen areas on D316 to Chauffayer.
D23 and D123 dry.
D23A and crossing of St Eusete hyper-frozen!
Des Infournas until last bifurcation descending to Chaillol, full snow and ice with gravel. Good snow at the last Pass!
Final totally dry.
ES 5-8: 60% full snow and ice!
Departure and crossing of St Léger verglacés tending fondant soup.
Road becomes dry until Ancelle.
At the end of the stations, return of the hard and groomed snow with gravelly ice to the slopes at the top of the Col.
Summit of Moissiere pass almost dry because swept by the wind but all the descent forest is mega snow groomed or rails until the end of the wood.
Final sec.
ES 9-11: 30% snow and ice!
Dry to Vitrolles.
Iceflakes with melting tendencies in Barcillonnette.
Return of snow and ice from Esparron.
Climb and descent of the Col de l'Espreaux full snow and ice.
Identical situation for the Col des Verniers then final dry for the Col de la Bachassette.
ES 10-12: D148 and D48 dry except the winding part uphill, between Le Sarret and Savournon composed of melting snow rails.
Descent of the Col de Faye well icy with tendency to improve towards the final dry.
Specials of the Turini and Entrevaux totally dry except the final wet after Ubraye, which can lead to formations of frost plates in the evening.
In short, you know everything!
Good choice in your places ...

Purely based on weather observations, I would tell that its should be mostly dry with a little snow on the side of the road in some sections. Tomorrow it will be 3-4 plus degrees around there and during the stage it should be between -3..-4 degrees, maybe slight chanche of patchy black ice
