I read about TCR. It wasn't created by FIA. But when it become successful formula they immediately stepped in. As I know they are not technical rule makers but are there just for sporting reasons. I think that WRC should do the same path. Fire those who clearly doesn't know the shit and let those who are actually in the sport run it. I blame FIA and I'm sadly afraid they will kill the championship.
FIA creates very little, it acts on proposals. TCR isn't a world championship and it had FIA/ASN support from day one, they didn't 'step in'. Manufs couldn't/didn't want to sustain WTCC and it couldn't survive without them. Why cry about it, nothing can go on forever but touring car racing survives. Do you tune in to every race?

If a rival/independent international rally series exists let's see it. There's TER and the Portuguese one I forget the name of, but if those promoters wanted to take over WRC, they've had a chance. Not exactly a fair chance but I don't think anything was lost. And if they come up with a better and sustainable car alternative... then let's see that too.
