Japan is a bit like if you have seen one corner you have seen them all, lacking some scenery to see, gets a bit monotone

Japan boring, Latvia boring, CER boring etc, etc - we can not have just Fin and Monte 14x per year. Look at F1 - all the modern Tilke built tracks are all boring.
But I agree, final event must be in Europe. Next year Saudi will be even worth - no spectators whatsoever.

Rally Japan is a really tough tarmac driving challenge and this is a justified test to have for the best drivers in the world. it's also the home of Toyota and many rally fans who deserve to see their heroes.
The main issue is the timing of the event (it shouldn't be the season finale).
The fact that it's stages dont make for exciting tv viewing is a shame but cant really be helped.

Pajari is in the WRC2 second place he needs with about a minute gap on either side of him. You know what to do, young man.

I agree...Japan is boring (for RallyTV viewers) CER is boring (for everybody) in general it is really difficult to find a exciting Tarmac Rallye nowdays, maybe Croatia is not bad, but San Remo (Tarmac) Catalunya and Tour de Corse, that was exciting ....I am not a fan of Tarmac Rallyes anyway, and if they are so boring as CER or Japan with Millions of AntiCut Obstacels it gets completly bad...
Sardinia, Acropolis, Cyprus, Portugal, Poland are never boring!Juha Kankkunen: "The speed was o.K., but the corner was to tight"
Marcus Grönholm: "... tell corrado .... three gears are enough..! "

And they did the trick.
Mikkelsen late out of service and Neuville starts first

The problem is that they don't make the decision soon enough, or even have it in the plan before the race. The guy behind who's just come out on fresh tyres & is 2 seconds a lap faster needs the call...
