None of those you mentioned is not the main issue with Neuville. He has no consistency. Once he is in a fight he makes stupid mistakes or crashes.

Once he is in a fight? He was in a tight rally-long battle in Sweden and Mexico, beating Rovanpera and Evans without mistakes. The majority of his mistakes are when he's not in a close battle, not pushing 100%... some drivers seem to make more mistakes in those situations, same for Lappi, who admitted it himself in Mexico. Anyone know if this is as much of a rookie mistake as it seems or is it the type of thing all teams try to do but Neuville got caught?

Great achievement - but don't forget to mention the other two drivers; Hanson & Ye; a lot of the media seem to have overlooked this (similar to when Hulkenberg won Le Mans).
