how? don't think neuville is deciding on gilsoul money, and anyway contract would have been decided before testing i assume.
To me it seems more on personal side, as reported as neuville only decision...
seems they tested together last week, without any reported issue...

Just baffling timing. If the relationship was starting to strain and Thierry was having big doubts, you make the change a few weeks after Monza, and certainly before the recent testing. Even just try a few tests with a different co driver and see how it goes.

Quite often drivers are paying their co-drivers. I think Citroen was the only exception to this.
