On the other hand, the Fiesta was developed by different drivers (mainly Tanak, Matt Wilson and to a lesser extent Ostberg). Ogier had to adapt to a pre existing situation. Plus, the M Sport Fords were always made to work with different styles of driving and not purpose built for a single driver like the VW and the Loeb Citroen.
