Can anyone give an example of how this rule will make any difference at all to what we see next year?
For example, this year Hyundai has nominated Sordo as first driver. That means that on at least 10 rallies he must be in the main team alongside Paddon, Neuville or whoever they want. Without this rule you could have Paddon+Neuville on more than 4 rallies in the main team.

In reality this will not change much for next year for the current teams because they have stable driver line-ups and in case of force majeur (injuries for example) they are allowed to substitute the nominated driver anyway.

The only team that could benefit more is Toyota if they will have many drivers that they want to alternate.
