Stephane Peterhansel Survey

The Mini team has filed a claim against Stéphane Peterhansel, current leader of the standings Cars Dakar 2016, Monday night after the eighth stage. The team claims that the French pilot refueling in an unauthorized area, at km 180 of the special Monday. The stewards have therefore started an investigation to determine whether the supply was legitimate or not. Peterhansel has received a summons to appear at the evening briefing.

The sporty Peugeot Sport Director, Bruno Famin confirmed to the Spanish news agency EFE the complaint and said: "This refueling was legal because it was in the roadmap.
