I think there is three potential winners J-M, Ogier and Meeke. Other ones dont have enough experience or they cannot drive 110 procent level whole rally. Hope Tänak and dmacks are strong aswell. Also wrc2 has nice battle. Suninen, Lappi, Evans and Tidemand. They are driving for next years contarcts. They have lot to proof now. Rally fever is growing here.:)

Kris Meeke: “Everything went well this morning. It’s always exciting to get back against the clock after a short break. Our times were quite good, we were the quickest after two runs but we were held up on our third run by a slower car. In any case, I’m very pleased with our rhythm and I can’t wait to get started. Some people have been saying that I’m going to win easily because of my starting position but it’s never easy to win in Finland. I don’t think road position matters too much here. I would say I don’t think we have everything in place to do the full job this year. I see this rally really as a way of increasing my experience.”

Probably something as stupid as spectators not allowed to walk on the road up to Novikovs jump 1.5 hours before the first car. Safety is good but it doesn't have to go to extremes.

Lappi reporting deep ruts with stones coming up on the first run of some stages. The second pass will be interesting. For once, I've got a good reason for not doing anything productive at work.

British fans have been getting used to this approach for the last 12 months. Expect not to be anywhere near a jump or end up in a pen in the very near future.
Yeah. Well I've noticed that trend in NORF the last couple of years. We all know that the plastic ribbon protects you from big dangerous rally cars. If the ribbon fails then you can feel comfortable knowing that the 1000's of spectators bunched up like sardines in the same spot will soften the hit.

I think if he has a mental issue affecting him it is more that constant negative talk can result in negative attitude and have a negative effect on performance.

Apart from that, it seems that other cars and drivers are simply more competitive than they were previously - Ogier and VW are still the benchmark driver and car, but not as far ahead as they were last year.

Between stages at Rally Poland, Ogier has a discussion with Sordo and Marti and another driver and questioned WHY the Hyundai had a camera on the side of the car, facing forward next to the fuel cap, rear window!!!!???

In yesterday's broadcast there was also a camera on the side of the car but in a completely wrong place. It's absurd that they do not do any proper research on their experimental camera positions.

The internet isn't so great here and actually you don't have so much time. Like I said we are at ouninpohja kakaristo junction. The atmosphere is great like always and many Finland people supporting us And Tänak despite the problems. Tomorrow we will be at ouninpohja and paijala.

the places we were Tänak actually didn't seems one of the fastest guys at all but when we heard the stage times we were so surprised. He has so clean driving style now.
