Ogier has brakes problem; works on Polo between ss13-14..late starting ss14...reports | via @desboroughj

Sat 09:17 - SS14: Ogier
Will start the stage late. He's working on his car's brakes on the road section. A consequence of that is that Mikkelsen is now first on the road. He started at 0914hrs.

Enjoyable rally so far, too bad the fight is not so close at the top.

Meeke has come a long way in the past year, sure he's making use of the starting position but a great drive so far!

Not the first time by a mile. I can't count how many times they have done that. The people responsible for that has to seriously get their act together.

I mean, if I was someone responsible for the broadcast of the world's second largest and world's best motorsport I'd be ashamed of the amount of things that aren't working. Split times still not working properly after many many years, maps the wrong way, super weird camera locations, the list goes on.

How hard can it be?

Ogiers ditching was because he was on the limit for last 6 rallies.Capito agrees with that.

“It was totally my mistake, and then at perhaps one of the slowest sections of the entire rally of all places. But that can happen when, like Julien and I, you have constantly been at the limit for the last six rallies or need to give 110 percent to try and make up for the disadvantage of the starting position.

Nah, I wouldn't say that this year Tanaks driving style is much more flamboyant and more rough compare to last year when he was driving on Michelins. This year we can see more smoothness in his drive, I don't know is he enough "noose and first" - I'm not an expert, we have to ask our forum member ;)

I would compare this Dmacks puncture case to last year Pirrelis. When there is a top driver, they just can't cope as well as Michelins in a serious flat out pace. Just look how many punctures or issues with tyres (coming out of rims) has Kubica had last year. Correct me if i'm wrong, but main Dmacks technical director is the same guy who was previously working for Pirelli.

Has he changed some things in his driving style/mental approach etc (genuine question)? I'm just worried he will be picked up by a manufacturer and it will be a repeat of 2012/2015 with added pressure because of having to live up to expectations and therefore bad results.

But seeing his form as of late it would surprise me if he wouldn't be picked up.

In 2015 the average speed increased during Sunday's Myhinpää stage.
At end of Saturday this year the average speed for Meeke is 126.6 km/hr compared to end of Saturday last year when Latvala's average speed was 124.7 km/hr.
