This was atleast a slightly adventurous/attacking England. The reason I dislike England is due to the hype by media/fans about their chances and how they deserve to be at the top table when in reality they have been piss poor sicne Italia 90. The 2006 England matches were perhaps the worst World Cup games I ever saw...

This was all Suarez though, a lesson in the art of finishing (and how to go about being in the right place to get the chance)
    Tito Vilanova = :champion:

We controlled Suarez quite well, for most of the game - R. Hodgson

No offence but I'm afraid the "rest" will be quite short.

    Surely that was 2010?

2006 was OK - 1-0 win over Paraguay (boring), 2-0 over Trinidad & T (dramatic v Minnow) 2-2 v Sweden was a cracking game. (Joe Cole Volley)

2010 was the dire one: 1-1 with Usa, 0-0 With Algeria and 1-0 over Slovenia all dull as dish water.
    2010 was dire

    I didnt see this quote?

That is funny. Was he telling jokes and doing a stand up routine at the time?

Mind you Roy has a point, all he actually did was score 2 out of 2, win them the game and all but knock us out.
