    To be fair for the game its probably best the Ref didnt send Godin off.

    Of course from an England angle I guess it would have been useful.

    Cause we are not very good.

    The trouble here in England is, that the press and fans said that this was a development side for the future and no expectations.

    Then the draw was made and it was seen as such a tough group that England wouldnt get out of it. The press and fans were resigned to have a poor tournament and likley missing out.

    However despite all the above. The last month has seen more and more people on TV & Radio saying we can make it to Quarters. Why do these people suddenly see us as getting a lot better? Strange way English minds work.

    I said we would never get out of this group and i stand by it. I hope the media don't go mad after this, but I suspect we will be subject to the usual "death of English football" headlines.

    Realistically we just go again for Euro 2016.
