Another good rally for Sebastian Frycz. I'm surprised. After such a long brake he returned to regular rallying and was 8th in Swidnicki (1st in class 3) and now 4th in Krumlov (2nd in class 3). Not bad!

Pretty bloody unlucky that "thing" was there, but that's rallying! I guess he was pushing to close the gap on the final stage and failed..

Kudos to Skoda for congratulating Pech so heartily: "We are really pleased that we were able to appear in front of our home fans again this weekend – thanks in no small part to the support of our sales department here in the Czech Republic,” said ŠKODA Motorsport Director Michal Hrabánek. “We saw a captivating battle. At this point I would like to congratulate the winners Václav Pech and Petr Uhel. You have to congratulate them on a performance like that."

Frycz was good and nice to watch but frankly all gr.N drivers were shadowed by Jiří Kalista in historic Legacy who was constantly faster than all them. It's kinda funny to read a speech of Štajf how they fulfilled their task to be fastest Subaru in finish when the only reason for that was historics ending one stage earlier (those double events again!)

Just caught up with this. Incredible to be so fast in a Legacy!

But, if as you say, the rain tyres allowed in historics are much better and there was a lot of rain, then that would make a significant difference. Either way, really he deserved 3rd overall if they had let him finish the whole course...

Thanks for sharing, really interesting to hear about other parts of the world.
