The different suspension of the WRC27 I would assume. The Hyundai camp told that they expect the 27 to be much better in this regard.

All this is just bandaids to somehow get out of an imposible situation.

Let's imagine the complains already "The 27 is much better in X condition, I can't win!" (or vice-versa)

And then there was me, low-key supporting this move because I wanted to get rid of the Toyota dominated championship we have now. A field full of Rally2 cars would be much more interesting to watch... More evenly matched cars, more drivers pushing flat out. Sounds good, right? Well, 2027 might end up being even worse...

I'm a bit lost in this constructors vs tuners but does Toyota also be able to sell at least 10 cars? In theory there could be 16 Toyota cars?

In this article it is written that “When you take the decision to homologate a car, you need also to produce the car, so minimum 10 over two years. Plus you need to produce a car for all the people who want to buy your car, 10 per year. That’s a massive challenge for them also.”

Hyundai need to prioritise making fundamentals of their Rally2 Car much better before they even think about the New Kit.

(But we will have Lancia next year. )

I said 6 months notice was crazy to develop and test the new kit properly.

Plus Skoda arent a factory team for a long time and don't want to be.
