If registration is broken for new users and no one here notices, it may have happened more than just that one time. So you will have a shrinking membership as people die or drift away and without new people, traffic will start to dry up.
There's still plenty of people registered but posts have dropped off a lot after Monte.

The site is working better after a bad spell but it seems people arent that interested in posting during live events, preferring to just watch unless there's some drama.
