Hoping Evans takes it this year. He deserves it!

Does Evans deserve it or not? It leaves us with many different points of view and opinions, but the title is decided by the rules defined to collect as many points per season as needed for that.
Title for Evans would be good:
* he is one of the big-old 4 (Ogier, Tänak, Neuville, Evans) that do not have it (I consider Rovanperä a new generation guy compared to the listed ones)
* Brits have been waiting for it quite some time now, and it would be good for the sport to give some enthusiasm for them
Personally, I would like to see when a champion TAKES the title by power and dominance, not just "being reasonable". Based on that, I need to admit that Ogier deserves the title.

I don’t really care who wins from a personal aspect, but I don’t want Ogier to win simply because he hasn’t done the full season, and that makes a mockery of it. Even his wife agrees apparently….It can’t become a thing, having enough points to be in the game, but not run first on the road through all the gravel rallies by missing a few early season events and then come strong at the end, no bueno.

Evans would be good to have as Champion, after Neuville finally doing it last year. But whether its deserved is a moot point.
Ogier has an average score of 26 pts per rally this season... Evan's 20.5.

I really don't know who to root for, I would have rather Thierry, Kalle or Tanak to take the title.
Evans never excited me, had the best car for so long but always came up short, "boring" driving style, always "it's okay" interviews. But I think if he wins this year's title, then he's a deserving champion, there's nothing more you could ask him to do to get the title. And it wouldn't even come from unfortunate mechanical failures from the rivals (not counting Hyundai village car).
Ogier is to admire for his speed at his age and also skipped 3 rounds (though let's remember it's not circuit racing, he got better starting position for later rounds), but his personality... I think we wouldn't hear the end of it if he wins the 9th title, but again, if he does then it's deserved, what else can you ask from him.
