Haven’t been following closely today but how come are Fourmaux and Neuville so much slower than Tänak today?

I remember saying last year that it felt like watching the end of an era. I wondered if it would happen again this year. Apparently it's a puncture at the wrong moment, but he was pushing hard and there was always a risk.
I think he's not quite what he was (as fast as Rovanpera but more experienced). Now he's still a very good driver, and he's one of the favourites for the championship, which is close, and has two rallies after this one (which isn't finished), and ends on a gravel rally with cleaning.Last edited by Morte66; 18th October 2025 at 10:36.
