That's why I wrote 3:5 (Hungary, Scandinavia, Fafe). Rally Poland is gone from Mikołajki and gravel. Rally Silesia from 2026.

im no french but im still waiting for erc to have a round over there. loads of locals, they have what? 3 kinda 'big' championships in france? or is it just the national and a tarmac one? anyway, france is big in motorsport, they should have a promoter willing to bring erc. that would be really fun.

They dont want to be in ERC. Because french championships (like most of the national championships now) has different rules than FIA and they doesnt want to adapt to them...

It must be about 10 years since the was a French rally in ERC (Rally du Var ?) and I dont think anyone else has mentioned or been bothered by it.

Other countries are really keen to be in the ERC but the French seem happy in their own domain. Arrogant, who said that ?!

Var has never been in ERC (and I am not surprised). It was only Rallye Antibes in the past. But then they were pushed by FFSA to choose between french championship and ERC. And to say the truth, almost nobody in ERC is able to manage the rally without national field...

Ok, I forgot Corse. But true is that when they left WRC, they were going to IRC. And after forced end of the championship by FIA and merging with ERC, they continued in next two years following previous agreement with Eurosport until their promised return back to WRC...

interesting. i see lots of complains in the autocross scene about stuff like that. that fia's requirements for the modern european championships push them away a little bit because of those extra costs on type of tires, fuel, weight, little adjustments on the safety-rollcages that they demand. only the richier fellas can participate, which is a shame cuz theres loooads of entries in the french series, always.
