Yes, with a top driver it's still quite possible.
Jon Armstrong has also set good times in Ireland and ERC in his Fiesta.
Citroen and Skoda have been forced to offer prizes to take more sales and Hyundai to make big upgrades with stars like Paddon and Lefebvre on development.Last edited by Fast Eddie WRC; 18th April 2025 at 10:47.

Pulling this into right thread...
None of these 'prizes' from Manufacturers are from the goodness of their heart. They get something too. In this case hoping for more sales of their Cars by teams/drivers seeing a chance to win discounts. Citroen Ireland have a similar scheme for Citroen Rally2 drivers, in that case bringing extra publicity to the brand by there being more Citroens on the events.

Just 2 weeks ago young Estonian was the hero of the day. But life is full of ups and downs. On Canary Islands he crashed on the very first stage:

Not related.
Btw, FIA doesn't allow them to use Rally6 designation. I don't know why they insist (Lancia and Renault).
The cars are:
Lancia Ypsilon HF Racing
Peugeot 208 Racing
Renault Clio FR6
Opel Corsa FR6

i guess it's because fr6 led to rally6 easily, and is good to mark the difference from rally5/4 (lancia press is all about the rally4 comparison).
and maybe also to nudge a bit to have an international recognition from fia (especially with a new top of the pyramid incoming)

Just slow on Tarmac as they have been (pretty much) from MC last year.
