    It was a good race. It does look like it could be great season with Piastri vs. Norris battling for the championship. Mercedes and Russell could make some noise if he can start winning a race or two.

    It is incredible how quickly Red Bull has fallen. My bet is Horner will be out at the end of the year.

    I don't think Horner is the problem.

    Sacking Horner would be the dumbest thing Redbull could do going into a new regulation and taking on a new engine. Redbull having wind-tunnel correlation issues is unfortunate, no one is to blame for that. It is what it is.

    This is the second year they have used the wind tunnel as an excuse. There are stories with headlines of:

    Whispers of Crisis

    As the Bahrain night settled in, whispers of discord began to ripple through the paddock. Reports of a ‘crisis meeting’ surfaced, with tempers allegedly flaring behind closed doors.
    Sky’s Ted Kravitz reported witnessing Verstappen’s manager, Raymond Vermeulen, angrily confronting Marko in the team’s garage after the race on Sunday.
    Winning does cure a lot of things, though.

    It was a decent race but I failed to understand why Ferrari started both drivers on Mediums when the rest started on Softs ��

    I think you would find that Newey fell out with Redbull and Horner. Rednull for the way they handled the scandal, and Horner for his part in it. It is not fair to solely blame Horner for Newey's departure.

    On the matter of wind tunnel, Redbull was denied planning approval to rebuild their ageing wind tunnel. This is one of the main reasons for their current problems. The wood fanned wind tunnel is not up to the job anymore it would seem.

    From the grapevines, it is suggested that the car setup for softs on the Ferrari requires a considerable change to hards or mediums and may have been problematic. The Meduims are in a window closer to that for hard tyres, which is probably why they went medium-medium-hard.
    Apparently the car is sweetest on softs but has a higher deg than the Mercedes and McLarens, l hear.
