Protocol does not lie - the best non-M-Sport car was 3rd lost 2.14 sec/km for a 17.31km stage. If you could put that to the crystal ball prediction you could sound a bit crazy, but here it is

If Evans will won title, he will beat not just Tanak or ''Ogier'' (like Neuville), but also Rovanpera. Also there is one more event added, so I think the job will be even harder (if we can call Saudi Arabia even an event).

It certainly looks to be a more interesting season than most had anticipated with rovanpera returning.
But so far it also kinda validates my idea that kalle was lucky to have an absolutely dominant car but no equal teammates during his champion years.

I agree. Rallying has its roots as endurance sport, we need a variety, not just flat out all the way events
I just saw a quote from the great late Timo Mäkinen on why Europeans used to struggle to win Safari back in the old days: ”the Europeans just come here and drive too fast”

I don't get how Hyundais always fall apart here but on rough Greece they do good.

Neuville to 3rd place after this stage..
It seems that rumors are getting stronger that Yuki will be gone at the end of the year. The way that second seat eats up drivers it wouldn't shock me.
