Driver of the day is still GMuns for me. Kalle also is back to his usual self. I have to say both Tanak and Thierry are very lucky to be still in the rally.

This next stage will be tricky with black ice. The behind runners should have an advantage but let's wait and see.

I would say ogier is the luckiest so far. 2 off's that could have ended his rally, but he got away with both without much time loss.

Cancellation of the first pass is a real shame. Would've been like 3 kms of ice.

Re Pajari: show me one sane rally driver who would say that he/she would like and have fun on this type of road - it is like a lottery - turn and hope it will work, especially in high speed. Seems he is taking very measured risks - no point to smash the car, despite the potential shame on loosing to McErlean.

I think loeb and ogier like these conditions. It separates the best from the good.

Tänak has lost for stage winner 13.5, 6.4, 17.8, 6.7, 21.2, 10.4, 12.2 - but in total loses 37.7 to the O/A leader after SS8.
