A thing about Pajari... I watched him in WRC2 on Monte last year and he took it so easy I wondered if he was in stage mode at times. This year he is going much harder. So aside from everything else, I think he's a Finnish gravel guy and this is maybe his least favourite rally. That's not the whole story, but it's a factor.

I was going to say mcerlean is making progress by being faster than the rc2's, but then came rossel.
So far not a great succes for our 2 newcomers.

Driver of the day is still GMuns for me. Kalle also is back to his usual self. I have to say both Tanak and Thierry are very lucky to be still in the rally.
This next stage will be tricky with black ice. The behind runners should have an advantage but let's wait and see.

Re Pajari: show me one sane rally driver who would say that he/she would like and have fun on this type of road - it is like a lottery - turn and hope it will work, especially in high speed. Seems he is taking very measured risks - no point to smash the car, despite the potential shame on loosing to McErlean.

Gryazin dropped about a third of his lead to Rossel in there. I hope those tyres pay off later.

I have serious doubts as of now, to be absolutely honest. Seems that the FIA / current promoter destroyed so much worth, that no one with serious intentions wants it. It's so crazy, compare the...
