They are, but there is just no interest in WRC for these bs bosses.. F1 is so wanted and prestigious, because team can make money out of every point and even more for Manus title.. Yes, ,,buy in'' is also many times higher, but there is a chance to earn big money..
Rallying is verrry popular in the world.. just change some rules etc and make WRC great again.
In private business, such ceo's or leaders, who don't achieve their goal, wpuld be sacked very fast..
E: don't remember who said it, but some top driver hinted that this fia boss guy hasn't visited wrc event for a long time in a row (heard it in autumn)..Last edited by TypeR; 3rd December 2024 at 19:29.

Next year's Safari Rally will include an extra stage and, as a consequence, even more mileage, apparently:

Interesting, but expected. Somewhere in September in one of interviews he used wording "...then I will explain my decision..." which clearly in that context meant that decision would be controversial and would require some extra explanation. I doubt that his stay at M-Sport would require "explanation" . If this will happen, expect some surprises from M-Sport - Munster stays on pay-drive, some "under the radar" pay driver for part season sharing the car with some youngster who pays for some events, like Sesks, Rosell or similar - thus 2 cars guaranteed plus some extra pay-drives on regional events.

Fourmaux is in Hyundai then.
Is it a good move? I'm afraid not.

A bit random announcement to me.. noy even in Hyundai clothes

but anyway.. good luck for him! This is(proper manus contract) what rally drivers dream of!
(while Neuville's continuing was made like a big show
)

It really depends.
If the 25 Hyundai has much wider setup window and is better to drive, if not, then good luck to him.
Also deal wise, we haven’t heard Hyundai continuing after 25, if it’s just a one year deal then also not a good decision IMO, especially if he would have a bad year

https://dirtfish.com/rally/wrc/ogier-confirms-hell-do-10-wrc-rounds-in-2026/ Now that Ogier has publicly stated that he will go for the 10th but will miss 4 instead of 3 rallies like this year,...
