How long have you been following motorsport? The FiA President has very little time to concentrate on WRC, he even said this himself. The F1 world wants him to put them first - they've been out to get him, since he was elected; he's not one of them, he's an outsider, who comes from rallying.
Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

eh, tbf maybe i believed too much in his words to dirtfish. re-reading his words "This is the beginning. I am here. I have to give more time to rallying, because we can fix it.” i can see more clearly now that is was just P.R. shit. he probably meant "im going to take money from the saudi king" haha

Sami Pajari announced on FB, that he will be partnered with his previous co-driver for 2025. Marko Salminen.
Also Toyota will nominate Rovanpera and Evans to score manufacturer points and the third scoring will be nominated depending on the situation and how the season progress. Where Ogier will be present it will obvious be him, but on the remaining it could be Katsuta and also Pajari.Last edited by deephouse; 3rd December 2024 at 05:09.

I dont think anyone at the FIA could fix the problems with the future of WRC and rallying in general.
Until the car industry sorts its ideas out as to the future of car propulsion its impossible to make any decisions.
Everything is in a state of flux, even the Regs for Rally2 which is the most successful formula. Proposals to go with a spaceframe chassis (from Rich Millener of M-Sport) have been very negatively received by everyone on social media.
