But it's still a pleasure to watch him, both in action and in interviews. He has such a positive personality, that he almost doesn't fit in modern WRC!
Pls point to modern times, e.g, past 30-40 years, young and promising driver who would be competitive on both surfaces immediately out of the block. As I said earlier - you can not learn natural speed - either it is there or not. His speed this weekend was great - you can not learn it by having driven those roads before. I hope his very smart team are aware of his shortages on tarmac. That is coachable.
