It's not contradicting. An argument could be made that tennis making no difference between 1:6 and 7:6 sets is not ideal, but it is how it is. The player who wins more sets wins and everyone fights to win more sets. The nominal win corresponds to objective win. In wrc every driver competing for the overall position try to score most points relative to others. Objective win is scoring most points, but nominal win is something else. This devalues the nominal win

We maybe have to reconsider Neuville's pace on high speed events. Now when he had a more competitive car, then the speed was speed there, previously the Hyundai was just so bad and it didn't give him...
