Bulgarian junior champion Aleksandar Tomov, will compete in this year's ERC Junior with a 208 Rally4 of the Hungarian HRT Racing team.

Tomov is only 18 years old and was last season's Class 5 champion in Romania.

News from France. Yoann Bonato is going to compete in full program in French championship as well as in three rounds of the ERC. After Bonato's former team CHL Sport Auto switched to Hyundai, he will work with a new team Trajectus Motorsport. More details, including new livery, here:

Winner receives no money from FIA nor promoter. Only title, cup and all media things around.

Quick doubt... What has been the impact among the series and competitors that fia slowly ended N4/R2-kit/RGT from ERC?
It seemed a fun class until few years ago. Subarus, Mitsubishies, Abarth, Porsches, Alpine, Kit-Cars... Does the competitors complaim about that or its just fine?

Competitors were not happy, they wanted to keep that category. After slow beginning, there were finally more R4 cars available. But FIA decided to cancel this category as they didnt wanted to to support it. So these cars still can compete, but only in general classification, where they are without chance. FIA killed also FIA RGT caregory and dont want to prolongue FIA passports for them. So currently only Alpine cars has valid international homologations
