it was his own stupid mistake, but it wasn't because he was pushing too hard. he either made a mistake with the notes or he didn't listen to them.

Based on past we all feared it coming and it came. It was not just the sentense at the end of previous stage. For me it's "Friday hero" side-effect - on Fridays he shows good stage-times from good road position and it may feel like "oh I can do it!". Then on Saturday and further comes reality from equal road position "shit, what happened, on Friday I was able to do it, so I need to improve" and then overdriving happens under pressure.
