Glad to see Tänak's choice payed off, yes a shame Evans had a double puncture but at least he has 2 spares. Really hope Tänak can get this win in the bag and if the two Hyundai's are joining him on the podium, that's good for the manu. championship.
Only you know your true potential.

I think he just took the risk knowing if he got away with it there was a chance to take good points off Kalle. I don’t think it was a ‘mistake’, just a gamble that didn’t pay off for him. I’m glad he didn’t play safe and went for it. Kalle had no choice but to drive slow as he only had 1 spare.

So, in which stage, Sunninen will let Neuville pass him?

I think that he will pass him by speed

Feel Evans had to risk it with the tyres in terms of the championship. A win here with kalle in a lonely 5th would've been great with 2rounds to go. Now I guess Evans has to throw the kitchen sink at it to try and get 2nd + powerstage win?

Dirtfish:
Evans admitted he “had a suspicion leaving service” this morning that Toyota’s call would backfire.
“Obviously the choice is already made last night,” Evans said, “and then yeah after the first one we tried to drive quite smooth and then the wear was so massive, then at that point we knew we were a bit in trouble to be honest.”
But why did Toyota feel taking a full-soft package would work?
“I think mostly that the grip was so low yesterday morning and obviously the temperatures are so low here, but obviously the abrasion of the stages was still massive,” Evans replied.
“It was a mistake, as simple as that.”

In the last corner of camera outside footage we can see that Neuville was really saving tires here, others drove it fully under throttle

I guess Tänak went to safe mode now for at least 2 stages in this loop.
What about those Lancia's who burned everything down (and almost the whole championship) from WorldRX. I know it's completely different. What car were they based on under "official" delta skin. And...
