Why do I always feel scared and anxious when seeing those bad tarmac roads/stages....?

It might be confirmation bias as I am pretty used to these roads being "almost" local, but I do not actually find this particular section dangerous or scary - at least in terms of what the stages look like over here.
Those 3.2 kilometers are obviously quite fast and narrow in the forest, but the surface is quite smooth with little to none significant bumps etc.

Anyways, it was my first time seeing Rally1 in person, and have to say, that car is pretty sick. Extremely well balanced, doesnt "move" while cutting or braking at all. It was very impressive experience to see such a machinery in a familiar surroundings.

To clearify: it´s the kind of stage in combination with very fast cars. And yes, I know safety is very good in those cars but still we have physical laws deciding most of the outcome after an off.

Per, what Walach meant is that the road used for the test is super smooth in the local rally standards (the test was held in a Barum rally area). Anyway the Czech CER stages are no Pindula-like broken bumpy dirty something which only remotely resembles tarmac. It seems that there are only few bumpy roads and quite a lot of nice smooth asphalt.

All roads used for rallying or testing are counted, though. To me even test roads can be dangerous. We know that too well.
