in the end there is only one person who turns the steering wheel and is able to avoid rocks or holes. some are just better at it than others.

Alternator & transmission problems for Lappi now. Hyundai's are as unreliable as M-Sports eventually.

Sounds like Kalle just going to take the points and not fight Ogier for the win.

Lappi appears to be out. Only Sordo survives from the i20s.

ogier did what he was payed for to do here, take out toyota's opponents. he can now take the win while kalle can further secure the title.

That would be extremely wise for him as Ogier doesn't do whole championship (and even if he now suddenly would decide to contest all remaining rounds, he still wouldn't have a chance).

The funny thing is that this would be Ogier's fourth win of the season (against just two for Kalle). And similarly, Ogier has so far won just one stage against Kalle's six stage wins in this rally. So the one with most wins doesn't win the big prize - if it indeed stays like it is.

ogier won 25 seconds yesterday and lost 10 today so far. I'm not sure ogier would be able to win here without his position advantage on friday.
