What is the story about his road accident in a Ferrari F40?
Shinozuka in front of world champion Salonen
I was thinking that older drivers were penalized by younger voters who wouldn't know them, but then you see Sordo, Latvala and Meeke (never championship contenders apart from maybe Latvala once) in front of Hirvonen, with Latvala and Meeke being in front of Neuville as well. Guess fan favourites really matter

Here's my sum of the 2022 WRC stages. New ones, fast and slow ones, but also cancelled ones.

In 1994 he was going for the title, started by winning Monte Carlo, but had a road accident in a friends F40 and broke his legs which caused him to miss a lot of the season. 93/94 was his best period driving wise and he could have done it, personally I think he would have missed out anyway as the Toyota and Subaru were starting to out develop Ford with stuff like the active diffs etc, although Makinen did win 1000 Lakes in a one-off factory drive.
Shame he didn’t get the chance as by ‘95 the Ford team was a not run by the factory and wasn’t really competitive and after that he went back to French Championship with Peugeot and the 306 Maxi.

This DirtFish ranking is pure joke! Can not understand why there is no Urmo Aava and Karl Kruuda, when we all know what Estonians are doing...

"Shitara Town 2 was meanwhile cancelled because Craig Breen went off on the first run of the stage, damaging a barrier." - Officially yes

Did anybody keep a red flag tally?

Well it was a fan vote and what can you expect when big newspapers urged people to vote.
Anyways I got Loeb, Ogier and KKK as top3 so my conscious is clean

I didn’t vote, but if I voted with my head I would have Loeb, Ogier & Kankkunen as my top 3.
If I voted with my heart, Mikkola, Toivonen & Vatanen with an honourable mention for McRae.
