- count only 2 overseas events (still you could compete in all)
and let the door open for all other events. This would be already a big step forward...

I was thinking the same, again typical all or nothing FIA shortsightedness. It's even better if the 3 mandatory events are at the back of the season, that way during the first half you have different winners and you build up to the final showdown at the end.
