    It seems he's more likely to hang up his gloves at the end of the season (just a speculation), hope he doesn't but health comes above everything else.

    Seems quite a good chance of retirement.

    "I haven't decided yet about next season. It's not just about which team, but also whether to know if I will continue. So let's see. Let's see how the end of this season goes and how things are going with my family, and if I need to. to stay at home. At that point I will decide."

    Plus he may consider if another title is likely in a different car (Puma)... and against super-kid Rovanpera.

    With all these silly season shenanigans, I wouldnt be surprised If every fulltime top driver will stay put. ( Rovanpera, Tänak, Neuville, Evans, Breen)

    Some more fuel for speculation generators.

    If Tänak retires, it's in a way forced retirement - it's not happening as his first choice but family priority just forces to do it.

    In my opinion it leaves Tänak available as part time driver.
