Shame Solans couldn't keep the fight going but deserved win for Marczyk.
I enjoyed watching the Rally2 cars on these fast stages, Liepaja should be fun too!

Yes, a deserved win for Marczyk. It is his first ever win in ERC. It is also the first win in Rally Poland of a Polish rally driver in the last 9 years.

Two non-scores for Solans now makes the Championship almost over unless Llarena has a two DNF's on the remaining events.

Do not fully agree the championship is over as soon as now.
If there is a 8th round (and sounds to be a big IF with the time remaining), the gap is 24 points
But Llarena would have to withdraw his worst result (7 points so far). So the «*real*» gap is 17 points.
Solans has no more right to mistake for sure but 17 points is affordable in 3 or 4 rounds if we take a look to Solans’ speed so far. A not-so-good result from Llarena (as in Fafe) could be enough if Solans does well.
But for sure, there is a big IF: will Solans be able to find a car for all the last rounds? (Agreement with Kowax is Poland and Latvia only at the moment as far as I understand)Last edited by Danny0405; 18th June 2022 at 19:03.
