Tänak won the stage with 6.2 sec over Rovanperä and was surprised because he felt that engine was not performing or didn't support driveability

dirtfish refers engine problem only for Portugal,doesnt referes for engine at Sardinia.
First time i read the same article understood engine like you,but if you read carefully doesnt write someting about the reason of retirement at Sardinia.

Would have been interesting to see how fully electric rally cars compete against the oldschool ones in these conditions. In theory EV-s should be more bulletproof in water and mud as there are less...
