    This is a Rally bar talk but why can't they just bring back tyre mousse (I think it was called that) where when there is a loss in pressure, the tyre will fill up with some chemical and the tyre maintains its function. Too expensive?

    Yup been thinking and talking about it the last 2-3 years.

    For me these abnormally frequent punctures are ruining competition and the whole rally.

    Everyone is driving not to set up a fast stage time, but to avoid a puncture.

    Expensive and caused even more problems to lower classes who had no mousse tyres as the the cuts were more extreme by those cars who had mousse tyres.

    Rally was intended as endurance sport. Part of the thing is to drive smart enough not to have punctures and not to brake cars
