Well, maybe wise. If the team doesn´t manage to fix such things, health is more important. Add to that his problems with intercom.

Indeed i like Tanak but i can't understand the decision. It's clear the car is not there this rally and has intermittent issues. Why try risk it like that, instead let others risk and pick up what you can. Seriously. And people then come around and say well Ogier is lucky that's why he won so many titles... It seems that rumors are getting stronger that Yuki will be gone at the end of the year. The way that second seat eats up drivers it wouldn't shock me.
