Yeah with nothing huge to win/gain it was silly.
Could maybe understand it if he was 3rd and 15s back from the lead and needing a big push, but...

Who is building new supercars? Are there actually any new supercars since like 2019? Not counting the Lancia Delta ofc. Because if you look at the EuroRX starting list, most of the cars were made...
