    3 of the 4 cars were equal in 2017, and that's probably mostly due to Citroen taking deliberate risks. (both with the car direction and (test) driver selection).

    So far it doesn't seem anyone is taking too strange risks (after MSport got Loeb to drive the car at least).

    I'd expect most to be close at the start. The question is if some will be have some inherited limitations that will be hard to pass in later development even with enough money (say like 2017 i20 on tarmac and off course the mentioned C3).

    There might be big differences in how drivers get used to the boost/regen. But those will prbly equalize after a few rallies and watching each others onboards.

    I guess Loeb will be able to get Elena as co-driver if he drives for the WRC...

    Even Citroen was able to win rallies in all their three seasons.

    He is testing with Isabelle Galmiche today.

    I wouldn't expect anything else, they did an event together in the Maxi and Elena is a top codriver so....

    I also wonder if the hybrid boost/re-gen could be a big differentiator between even different drivers with the same car. If one guys style just doesn’t work the system the right way, it ‘could’ be a disadvantage that’s hard to overcome.
