You want service after every single stage? Maybe build cars that don't break after 1 stage instead, like they've been doing for half a century?

So Evans started stage late, meaning he'll incur at least minute in penalties?

EDIT: Ah, organisers were fast, four mins late and 40sec penalty.

They are doing 89 km of stages today. In some rally you could do almost that amount in one leg, before the day service. So it doesn't make much of a difference.

If you look at the layout of the rally on map, the service is in Lamia, start in Athens and today's morning stages near Corinth. It would take a long liaison to drive to Lamia for service. The other option of course would be to use only stages near Lamia, but to me this is more interesting.

You don't get it. If the rally had a different layout they could do 80 km of stages in the morning and 80 km in the afternoon. Now they're doing 89 km during the whole day and then going to service in the evening.
