    It looks like that here because we have only five WRC2 entries and even they are not proper factory team entries but drivers paying for their drives. And none of them is driving the best car, Skoda. The two most experienced drivers (Mikkelsen and Östberg) are skipping the event, as are most of the French WRC3 drivers.

    You can also check how it was from 2015 to 2019 with Skoda Motorsport putting in proper effort, not much chances for local guys.

    Yeah but at the moment there's zero factory teams in WRC2. No car manufacturer is paying a driver money to drive in WRC2. VW is completely abandoned by the manufacturer, while only Skoda, Citroen, Hyundai and M-Sport still develop the car and run customer programs. What is the sixth make? Proton? Peugeot? Toyota?

    i read at French forum that Ostberg said about Fourmaux off that was due to pirelli tyres?

    Not sure about that. When Ogier said "we have no tyres strong enough for WRC" Mads was diplomatic and yeah... We all remember his Sardinia Pirelli love story....
