    I was wondering about the starting position. But it seems that in monte he and Solberg actually did start with WRC2 point scorers on normal stages, just not on PS. Then it's more ok for him to compare speed.

    Yes.

    All P2 drivers start before P3 (WRC3) drivers.

    He is usually good on tarmac with gravel tires (like that stage on Friday in Catalunya used to be). So he should do well on PS here.
