Aim is one thing, realism is something else. I am sure he was aware of the (lack of) realism when he said that. Point was (besides PR) that he didn't aim to "win" WRC2 "Tidemand" style. (wait for others to get punctures and enter overseas rallies with no competition).


I do find using one stage time with 0.2 and 2.2 sec difference as an argument kind of funny. Crash (however it happened) is of course perfectly solid argument.
