Blah, it's a bit "smartassing after", but can not really understand the need for gamble with this 5 tires (instead of safe 6), because there is no rally2 option available and no option for collect points from powerstage (or for manufacturer, if there will be another car forced to retire).

So Tanak managed to reach service with flattyre,but organizer forced to retire?
Ott Tänak
@OttTanak
We are back in service, but unfortunately we have to retire the rally as we had two punctures and only one spare wheel. No restart possible on Sunday due to event rules.

Equal to what? If Tänak retired it means the rubber didn't stay on the rim. That is automatic retirement per rules (if stewards don't pretend blindness like with Solberg in Hungary).
Such has been the rule for at least a decade now. He's far from being the first one.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

Automatically no, but his comments from yesterday (how he was waiting for snow) and after great pace in first morning's stage, he would go for it in snowy ss10. Stage conditions was good for him to show a great time.
Of course he is doing fine, not hyping him or anyone up, calm down.

I don't panic about this, there's two things going on. The current WRC Promoter GmbH deal expires in 2033, so the FIA begun the tender for whoever will run it after. Meanwhile WRC Promoter GmbH was...
