What do they expect? They've brought a gentleman driver who funds the team, dropped Lappi because he won't pay, and their only "actual" rally driver has had his program cut/ funding issues so is clearly going to drive with a point to prove.
And Suinen was driving like that, and a few corners from winning the stage. Small margins. But it's hardly a surpise Suninen crashes in Monte - he has done for numerous years.
Perhaps Formaux would have been a better choice here.
I wonder who pays the repair bills in this situation. If it's M-Sport this is where taking pay drivers looks like not such a good idea.
Other than the Roger Albert dont think any current UK forestry events could remotely get anywhere near the required mileage and as you say nil possibility of anything new appearing on the scene woods...
