He clipped curb on Ciocco damaging his suspension. In Adriactico he actually crashed or went off the road twice before retiring. Salento he hit a rock in a blind corner that was risen to the road from the previous driver who had cut that corner and you dare to call that "crash in nearly each rally"
He would have also finished P2 in adriatico but electricial / fuel related issue stopped him on the final liaison and did pretty well in Rome, all that in piece of a shit 208 while being 17
Also Bulacia did same rallies in Italy already back then.Last edited by Essaj; 22nd November 2020 at 17:51.

Abbring is one of those "not many drivers". Breen last drove the car in 2015 and was he really that fast or happy with it? I don't think so. just look how many accidents and techinal difficulties he had with it.
Also has Lefebvre even done events in 208? His R5 results no matter the car are also really shy of Kalle's ones.
This is really getting out of topic now, but I don't get how Kalle always gets blamed for his season in Italy. IMO With all things considered it was pretty successful and was a perfect learning curve for him
Is "crash in each rally" one of those things?Last edited by Essaj; 22nd November 2020 at 19:10.

For sure those crashes didn't add him points:

I have never blamed Kalle for his season in Italy. I remember it as a very exciting season.Last edited by Jarek Z; 23rd November 2020 at 20:32.

There is a reason why Kalle had 4 times less points than Andreucci in the same car

I have always admired his ability to communicate with his engineer, and thus create maximum feeling with the surface and what he can thus allow himself of speed in different combinations, but if you...
